Home from Home in the
It was in 2003 that Cornhouse Cottage was developed from an outbuilding to a holiday home and we have welcomed people from all over the world in the years since.
The oldest building on the farm, the Cottage dates back to medieval times, with many original beams still in place.
The kitchen area was a scullery complete with pump, mangle, Copper and stone sink. What is now the lounge was a dairy, containing meat safes and other farming paraphanalia.
Upstairs was a granary, only accessed by steps from outside.
Now it is a fully equipped home for peaceful holidays!
The kitchen has a washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, range oven and microwave.
The lounge has a TV with built in DVD player, and a video player too.Wifi is free.
Upstairs there are two en suite bedrooms and a shower room. One room has a king size bed with plenty of room for our travel cot, if required. The other room has a double and single bed.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge, and a downstairs bathroom, so plenty of facilities! Please note - there may be a surcharge for using the sofa bed. Please ask for details.
Towels and all bed linen are prov.
If you have any questions about the Cottage, please let Charmaine know, she will be happy to answer them.
